No tape records is a small independent label created to fulfill the needs of musicians that, like me, enjoyed a fair degree of success as ‘hired guns’, doing studio work, tours and commercial jingles, but whose personal projects were not given a chance by record industry. The years have passed but the flame is still burning and our goal is to unearth hidden gems gathering dust in the closet, or new music we find interesting and stimulating. Our obvious market choice is the Internet, where loads of real music fans are lurking in the dark waiting for something fresh to catch and listen to.
